Video - M8 and M10 Threaded Rod Fixings Explained
Team Dust Spares Comments
Video Transcript:
"Hi and thanks for joining me!
For this video I will be showing how the dual M8 - M10 thread on the suspension clip and backplate work. We get asked this question this a lot - is it M10 or M8? How can it be both? Hopefully this will help:
If we take a closer look at this exploded sectional view of the thread, you can see towards the bottom of the socket is M8 thread and the top half is M10 thread. Here I have a suspension clip and a backplate with both M8 and M10 rod, as you can see, both rods fit securely in to the socket - like so.
Thanks for watching and don't forget to like and share!"
