"Hi guys and thanks for joining me! For this video I will be explaining the key features of our Fire Dampers!

These are used to prevent the spread of fire through ductwork. This is done with a fusible link which is mounted at the top of the fire damper - melting at various temperatures.

Ours come standard at 72°C, however we can offer additional alternative links up to 180°C.

Once melted, the spring loaded shutter falls preventing the spread of fire for up to 2 hours. This is ideally placed in a fire wall and sealed using fire-rated expanding foam.

The dampers can be reset using a replacement fusible link.
